Partnership with The Phoenix

The Phoenix & iSwim4 Foundation Join Together in Offering Swimming as a Program for Recovery

Wynnewood, PA (July, 1. 2023)

The iSwim4 Foundation and The Phoenix Multisport have agreed to produce co-branded swimming activities, both pool and open water, geared towards the sober active community. Swimming will be a new program for The Phoenix, who offer a portfolio of activities to harness the transformational power of connection in recovery. Both entities share a similar mission and iSwim4 will follow The Phoenix community standards such as 48 hours of sobriety, safety culture, community and recovery.

The iSwim4 swim classes will be registered on via The Phoenix app (available for iPhone and Android) initially in the Philadelphia area.

The Phoenix is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to foster a supportive, physically active community for individuals who are recovering from a substance use disorder and for those who choose to live sober. By participating in our physical, social and educational programs, participants build confidence, self-respect, and community. Activities offered include CrossFit, climbing, hiking, boxing, running, yoga, road & mountain biking, and strength training. Through traditional fundraising strategies and revenue-generating ventures, Phoenix is able to provide free programs for anyone with 48 hours of sobriety.

The iSwim4 Foundation is a nonprofit; 501(c)(3) pending, providing a safe, sober swimming community; its Mission is to inspire those affected by Substance Use Disorder – directly or indirectly – by demonstrating what’s possible in Recovery. We believe that by not only inspiring, but also involving those who are directly affected in a supplemental program of Recovery through physical activity emphasizing swimming, provides a transcendent and meaningful way of attaining the Rewards of a life in Sobriety.
