FAQ

Is the iSwim4 Foundation a not for profit organization?

The iSwim4 Foundation was formed as a nonprofit corporation in the state of Delaware in 2023 and our Federal EIN is 92-3826225. The Foundation is an IRS nonprofit under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

How did the concept of the iSwim4 Foundation come about?

Upon discovering a new life in sobriety, Jeff Rake was filled with an overwhelming sense of potential; he wanted to make the most of every aspect of his life. Jeff wanted to achieve something, and he wanted that achievement to serve a greater purpose than glory or self-fulfillment. He wanted to help others to discover and experience the rewarding life that he was now able to enjoy via the venue of swimming - the rest is history.

Do I need to know how to swim?

No, all that is required is a desire to try the meditative therapeutics of swimming. Members of our team are Red Cross Lifeguard and ASCA (American Swimming Coaches Association) Certified; we will provide lessons and coach training sessions in both pools an open water.

Where do you provide these services?

We are headquartered in the greater Philadelphia region, and have relationships with local swimming pools and access to rivers, lakes and the New Jersey shore.

Across the country, we also have a growing base in the San Diego area, including La Jolla. Keep checking in for more updates.

Through our partnership with The Phoenix, we now have a digital footprint that can be leveraged for organic growth.
