Meet Rob Bedford

Our own Rob Bedford, a swimmer and coach with the French Creek Racing swim program, was recently featured in “FROM THE RABBIT HOLE”, the French Creek Racing News.

The Mayor, the Captain, the DJ, the Coach - and Very Fast Swimmer:  Rob Bedford 

You may know him as the Official FCR DJ. You’ll see him near that green speaker set up at the end of Lane 2. Or maybe you’re one of the intrepid souls showing up for 0630 practices he coaches. He’s the friendly guy who remembers your name, says hello, makes you feel part of the group, whatever lane you’re in. “I don’t think he’s ever not smiling,” says teammate Rayna Kratchman. 

Adds Bill Conn, “Rob needs to be tall to hold all his kindness and good vibes. He was one of the first people to welcome me to FCR and immediately made me feel right at home.” At the opening of workouts, he demonstrates not only swimming skill but the ability to bring swimmers together to enjoy the experience…… CONTINUE
