Catalina Gratitude

To: Team iSwim4 and all of our supporters,

Thank you all so very much for taking the time to go on this powerful journey together; the Catalina Channel Relay was such a beautiful experience and one that I will always treasure.

Life dictates that we create plans to achieve milestones; we also learn that the plan will almost always deviate due to circumstances out of our control. We were able to work through our issues during the Relay (and the discomfort that was presented); accept and realign in order to achieve our goal. We were able to do this with a new sense of empowerment and purpose.

Our vision is to assist others who suffer from substance use disorder, so they experience life in this manner - we want to aid them in overcoming fears, setting and achieving goals, with fellowship, aquatics and positive reinforcement.

Together, we took a giant step to chip away at the stigma that held many of us down and we will continue to shine the light for others who want to be the best versions of themselves.
